Kerrin and Michael Relja’s delightful restaurant is just a few miles west of Kinsale; it’s a lovely old house set in gardens which include an al fresco dining area, which can be delightful in fine weather and makes a very pleasant spot for drinks and coffees.

What Casino offers is simple quality - no wedding planning service, for example, but really good food and warm hospitality, plus the space to land a helicopter, should you wish to do so, several churches to choose from nearby and the possibility of having a wedding blessing in these lovely surroundings.

There’s an unusually cool continental style in the decor, but the simplicity is very appealing, Michael’s food is consistently excellent, and his seasonal menus are based on the finest local ingredients: Ummera smoked organic salmon, fresh seafood from nearby fishing ports and local Ballydehob duck all feature regularly, and local cheeses are always tempting...

A wedding here is sure to be a wonderfully memorable experience.
