The Inn at Castledawson

Built around the 200 year old Castledawson House, Simon Toye and Kathy Tully’s latter day inn makes a delightful, romantic place for a wedding - and, thanks to Simon's excellent cooking and their ‘nothing is too much trouble’ policy, it is sure to be a memorable and relaxed occasion for everyone.

There are churches of all denominations nearby and wedding blessings can also be held at the Inn, where a dedicated wedding planner is on hand to look after everything from tables, menu selection and the cake, to decorating the tables to match your chosen colour scheme.

The Inn is a most attractive venue, with a modern bar where guests can gather for drinks beforehand, and a lovely tiered light-filled restaurant with a huge arched window overlooking the River Moyola and doors leading out to a decked balcony, which can be decorated with fairy lights; stylishly furnished, with hardwood flooring, warm red high-backed chairs, crisp white linen and gleaming glasses, it is a beautiful room for the wedding feast.

The bridal party and guests have exclusive use of the Inn, and the twelve chic contemporary bedrooms include a bridal suite with its own balcony overlooking the river.

Seriously good food is a major attraction at the Inn, and menus are individually selected and priced to suit each couple’s budget, ranging from three courses (£25) up to six to eight courses (£45); choices are not offered unless a pre-order is provided, in which case there is no extra cost.
